Can we pay invoices without Advance Collections

Hello,

We are in 12.1.3 and not using Advanced Collections, in Collections screen Transactions - Payment Processing is possible to select Pay in Full flag but the other areas of the form are grey out.

Can we use Payment Processing without Advance Collections?
