Oracle Identity and Access management repository -LCM installation

I am using the 11.1.2.3 LCM installation for OAM/OUD/OIM . I create the response file and then try to deploy the configuration but at the configure stage the OMSS fails with database error "no more data to be read from the socket". I checked the database parameters and ran all the prechecks for the server. I am using the java release that came with the repository bundle. I verified the the RCU installation username and password. This is a development server there are no users but me doing the installation.  I am running on Oracle Linux 6.8 ( updated) .
