Approve Step if Approver in User List Approved Prior Step

What's the most straightforward way to configure an approval process step such that IF approver (user) N in step 1 approved that step, then if it gets to step 2 (or whatever) and approver (user) N is in that user list again, it automatically-approves that step (as the user has ALREADY reviewed and approved the transaction).
