Sales Processing Poor Performance(14.0.2)

Introduction of e-commerce sales generates more data for ecomm locations. Multi Threading does not perform better since the threading logic takes store as an input and process the sales.

Volume for ecomm locations are very high when compared to B & M stores and hence the data for ecomm locations are in a way processed serially.

How do I go about changing the logic?

Is there a patch already available to mitigate the performance issue?
