Gateway loadbalancing and IB Domain Failover

We are currently implementing Gateway load balancing and IB failover in PeopleTool 8.54.20 .I wanted to know if there are any know issue which need to take care well in advance before we go in PROD?

also I wanted to know testing scenarios which we need to test after implementing domain failover.
