How is defined the credit limit

Hello All,

I'm using 12.1.3 without Advanced Collections, I have defined the Credit Limit amount at Customer level but when I go to Collections profile tab the amount there is different from the Customer record.

I read Collections don't display the Credit Limit from Customer screen and use own calculations.

My question is How we can control the credit limit and know if a Customer it reached that limit?
