Upgrade path for HCM 9.1 to 9.2 - SQL Server

We are currently planning to upgrade HRMS 9.1 to HCM 9.2, PeopleTools from 8.52.26 to 8.55.14 and from SQL Server 2012 DB (non-uni code) to SQL Server 2014 (Unicode).

As per the PeopleSoft Upgrade Source Images Home Page (Doc ID 1552580.1), the upgrade source images available currently for HCM Unicode customers is HCM 9.1 to 9.2 (Through Update Image 16) with PeopleTols 8.55.01.

I am wondering if Is this the right sequence to upgrade HCM and PeopleTools to the latest versions?

1. Convert a copy of PROD DB from Non-Unicode to Unicode

2. Install HCM 9.2.001 Upgrade Source Image (Through Update Image 16) with PeopleTools 8.55.01

3. Install the PeopleSoft HCM 92 Full Install (through Update Image 16) (9.2.2.0.0) VCD from Oracle Software Delivery Cloud to install the full code line for use with the upgrade. This is required as we are on SQL Sever DB as per PeopleSoft Upgrade Source Images Home Page (
