How can we keep the ptdropdownmenu header visible when using search?

Hello.

We are in the process of upgrading to PeopleTools 8.55.14 PUM 21 on HCM.

We have opted to change our landing page to the classic view while allowing our customers to have access to the new NavBar through updates to Personalizations.

As a result, our header looks like this (when viewing branding header detail);

When I click the Search Menu within the Main menu the header area where the menu shows up (ptdropdownmenu) is no longer visible making it a bit cumbersome for some customers to return to the main menu.

Here is an example of my using the search and how after the search is executed the header disappears.
