Montary amount and foreign amount

Hi,

We ran the journal Gen process to generate journals from AM .

The journals which got generated have amount variance.

The Monetary amount and the foreign amount are different.

The monetary amounts is the same as the cost of the asset but the foreign amount is diff.

How is the foreign amount and the monetary amount calculated in the Journal generation process.
