XML Gateway map file - can DTD be specified as a link ?

Hi,

We are using the PO-XML xgm map file for transferring the PO-XML to the suppliers. WE have customized the map file little bit. A new supplier wants us to put the DTD in the DOCTYPE element as a link. Is there a way to do it ? As per our understanding, the DTD has to be laoded to the database, and then need to be placed in the server, and the path need to be specified in the xgm file Properties. Is there any possibility of specifying this as a link ? 

More specifically, currently it is appearing as (the first two lines of PO-XML)  :
