Startup sequence documented in Doc ID 1545751.1

Hello

The Oracle document suggests a startup sequence. In my environment containing the following:

  • rib-artifact
  • rib-rms
  • rib-rpm
  • rib-riha

rib-artifact has to be started first so the adapters in rib-rms/rpm start up successfully. A strict startup sequence can ensure this, but in an enterprise environment where I have configured crash-recovery-enabled in NodeManager, forcing this startup sequence is not possible (restart delay only applies upon a JVM crash and not a VM reboot). Is the following (which is an automation of what is being done manually at the moment anyway) acceptable?

  1. VM crashes
  2. VM is restarted
  3. My auto-restart script starts NodeManager

Howdy, Stranger!
