Colour and Size Standards

Hi All,

I am currently working with a client who are about to start an implementation to version 16 and we are performing some upfront data rationalisation activities. At the moment they have far too many Colour and Size attribute values (about 1000 colours). We want to standardise these, are there any retail standards that Oracle recommend using for colours and sizes? They are both a fashion and general merchandise retailer.

Also does the product master in version 16 allow for a standard colour attribute to be selected as say "Blue" and have an additional free text field if the user wants to add more detail like the suppliers colour re - i.e. "Brilliant Blue".
