Is there a good reason to install a multi-domain PIA where the Admin Server is separate from the app
When I first started working in PeopleSoft, the PIA and admin server were installed as one. And then they gave us the ability to create a multi-domain if we were installing PeopleBooks, which we did. We even used a RPS in one environment for a while. I quit installing PeopleBooks when Oracle started hosting them online for us. And now that the ability to start/stop the PIA is included in psadmin - provided it is a single domain, I'm wondering if there is a compelling reason to have the multi-domain.
