Tools 8.55 search page cursor position or focus

During testing of Tools 8.55, one of the functional testers noticed that after a query on a search page, the cursor is returned to the top of the search criteria instead of the first row of query results as in tools 8.54.  I was trying to find some information on this as to whether this is the default behavior for this tools release but haven't found anything yet.  Does anyone have any information regarding this?
