HCM 9.2 MTP Questions

We are upgrading HCM 9.1/PT 8.54.22 to 9.2, PI21 with PT8.55.14 and I would like to get some clarification on our MTP steps.

These are the steps I did with our Initial Upgrade Pass.

  1. Installed .12 PeopleTools patch to demo images (PI16 for certified path, PI20 for RFU's)
  2. Applied RFU changes to demo image (PI16).
  3. Completed PeopleTools upgrade to 8.55.12 on First Copy of Production (HRCOPY).
  4. Completed Initial Pass of 9.2 application upgrade on HRCOPY (Transition upgrade).
  5. DBA created a Full Backup at this point and preserved the backup (BAK1).
  6. Applied all available changes from PI21 to HRCOPY (Destination upgrade).
  7. DBA created another Full Backup at this point and preserved the backup (BAK2).
