Data Conversion Options - Fresh Installation 8.9 > 9.2

We are currently on FSCM 8.9, PeopleTools 8.52.26. We are upgrading to FSCM 9.2, 8.55.13, but we are doing a fresh installation rather than following an upgrade path in order to remove as much customization as possible. What data conversion routes would be possible from a delivered standpoint?

We have several tables that contain millions of rows (LEDGER_KK, etc.) that we would like to attempt to leverage UPG_* data conversion engines for, but I'm curious if any other customers have done something similar. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated on how to efficiently get years of data through to our new domains.
