Testing Elasticsearch?

Hi all - we are currently upgrading from PeopleTools 8.54 to 8.55.14 (on 9.2) and are replacing SES with Elasticsearch.  Has anyone done this yet?  Was there any specific testing you did to ensure that Elastic was working correctly?  If so, would you mind sharing with me?  I would very much appreciate it.  I've tried to look at PeopleBooks, Peoplesoftinfo.com and Oracle Support - but much of it was technical and not from a functional testing perspective.
