Business interlink - LDAP_MODIFY

We have a Business Interlink – LDAP_MODIFY in PeopleSoft. Can someone please elaborate on the steps to be followed to utilize it to update information (manager id, department id) into Active Directory from PeopleSoft ?

We are on PeopleSoft HRMS 9.1 and tools 8.51.17
