Peopletools 8.54.30 functionality issue in IE vs Chrome and firefox

I recently upgraded people tools in one of our test environment from 8.51.14 to 8.54.30. I am able to navigate online in Chrome and Firefox but page opens in IE 11.2.42 but does not refresh any page.
