restart OIM server

HI All,

I have tried restarting server through custom users that I have created in unix system where OIM is installed. But I am getting permission denied error while starting application.

I would like to know is it possible to perform Restart of OIM application , Plugin registration and Jar upload/Delete through users other than oracle user?

Is it possible?

Please help.
