Moving to Elastic - has anyone successfully done this?

In Production, we have SES on HCM 9.2, 8.54.  We are in the process of upgrading to 8.55.14 and switching to Elastic.  I've bookmarked the Elastic home page, read blogs, looked at the videos, have the troubleshooting/known issues list almost memorized.  We have open SRs - to me, it's just not very easy to switch.  So I'm just wondering if anybody has successfully made this switch and, if so, would you be willing to share with me and hurdles you had to jump over or obstacles you overcame that would assist us in troubleshooting our issues.  For the ones that
