Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Do we install Tools 8.54 into existing Tools 8.49 directory for our FSCM 9.0 Application that we are

Hi,

We are upgrading from PeopleTools 8.49 to PeopleTools 8.54 for our existing FSCM 9.0 application. A couple of questions we need some help with:

Can we make use of the PS_HOME de-coupling given that we are not upgrading our application release ? In other words, can I still have a PS_HOME that refers to the new Tools 8.54 and a PS_APP_HOME that refers to our existing FSCM 9.0 codeline. If so, PS_APP_HOME will include the old Tools 8.49 binaries as well so can we just clean up the files and directories that we don't need and leave the SQR and COBOL directories ?
