Pending approvals not reflecting on OIM Self Service Page when using a Custom Approval Workflow

Hi All,

I have created a custom approval workflow in OIM 11GR2PS3. A serial approval Human Task Activity has been added to it in addition to the default approval process of the workflow. The respective Human Tasks are selected based on the result of a switch case. The default approval task works fine and we get a pending approval for the designated approver in OIM self service page. But for the custom serial approval task the designated approver doesn't get the approval intimation in the OIM self service page even though the corresponding request id shows that the request is pending for
