No Validation at Email ID field at Supplier Page

No Validation at Email ID field at Supplier Page

There is no validation on the email id at "Address Tab" field and the users can enter any value.
(Navigation : Main Menu > Suppliers > Supplier Information >Add/Update > Supplier)

We have verified it in Demo and the same is happening. Please let us know why there is no validation in place and advise us as the system needs to check for special characters/ correct email format in an email id field.

expecting the system to validate the email id value entered on the Supplier, Address page.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
