Peopletools 8.56

I see that tools 8.56 has dropped and apparently is it going to be entirely DPK in format as far as the the patches are concerned.

Does anyone besides me have a problem with that?  These DPK's require root access which is basically impossible to get.  sudo is a massive headache and just adds more administrative overhead to an already down sized system admin staff.

Maybe it is just me...I have been installing and maintaining Peopleools as far back as 8.22. 

Am I just being a curmudgeon?
