What is the use of creating Third party registration for all suppliers in GST system?

Hi

As I test, created a new supplier “Test Sup” and not registered as third party.

During tax calculation in India Tax Details form, below warning message came on saving BUT got saved without any issue.

Regime: GST-India, Party: Test Sup, Party Site: HO need to
be registered in third party.

In Short, without registering the suppliers as third party, one can still process invoices without any error through validation and payment.

What is the use of creating Third party registration for all suppliers in GST system?
