PeopleSoft Unicode to Non-Unicode Migration

Hi Guys,

We have an interesting situation. Currently, we are in the midst of upgrading our SQL Server Non-Unicode HCM 9.1, PT8.52 environment to Unicode HCM9.2 on PT 8.55.15 and completed IP after a 4 step upgrade process consists of 1.Non-Unicode to Unicode conversion, 2. PT Upgrade, 3. HCM PI16 upgrade and 4. HCM PI16 to PI21 update.  Our developers are now retrofitting all the customizations on the upgraded Unicode Development Database post IP.

We are currently running MTP1 process using a Unicode Database, post Non-Unicode to Unicode conversion process and PT upgrade with an intention of using it create a Test environment.

The customer is now thinking of keeping the environment as is, i.e Non-Unicode, due to potential issues with third party systems and other PeopleSoft data related issues.
