Show/Hide Columns and Column Sorting for Custom Tab

Hi,

In advanced collections we have 2 custom tabs available which can be used for additional requirement. We are planning to use a custom tab for additional information.

I want to know that in standard tabs you can right click on a column and you have options to hide or show columns and also have sorting ascending or descending for a particular column. How the same can be achieved in a custom tab ?

The purpose or the goal is to be able to set column ordering, show/hide, and or column sorting.
