Updating the connect id (people) password in my PUM Image

Is there any detriment to changing the password for a PUM Image’s connect id (people) after configuration and use?

It is awfully convenient to accept the defaults and let the PUM install flow unhindered. Yet now that I’ve used my CS 9.2 PUM 005 Image, I found it to be inconvenient switching my connect id’s password frequently on my file server where we run Change Assistant, Application Designer, Data Mover, etc.

Bonus points: I did some searching and failed to find a concise document on how to change this password. Can you provide a good Doc ID or PeopleBooks link? Is it as simple as changing it in the database (alter user…) and then updating and restarting the App and Batch servers?
