Unable to print PeopleSoft pages from IE 11 after installing Microsoft KB4022719

To preface, I did create an SR, but in the meantime I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue.
On 6/16, we installed Microsoft KB4022719 (released 6/13) critical security patch. Afterwards, we began receiving calls from users that they could no longer print pages from PeopleSoft using IE 11. The pages printed as a blank page with a footer that instead of consisting of the path to the panel, contained "res://ieframe.dll/xxxx/htm". We found article:
Which led us to the problem, and uninstalled KB4022719 on our machines, and then were able to print again. However, that's obviously not a good solution.
