GST - Complex Purchase Orders for Projects / Construction / Civil Work

Hi OFI (GST) Team,

With GST Roll Out, the purchase orders which were being created with single line item at lot level and referred to excel file as quotation to be referred.

Now, with GST this shall be required to capture HSN/SAC Codes and classified under Works Contract Tax.

Would like to seek a discussion with all concerned Oracle Functional / Technical team members who all are facing the same challenge.

What is the need of Works Contract Tax? Is it only the sufficient reason wherever it is not possible to differentiate between supply of goods and services?
