Problem on ixgbe-Fibre-Links to Cisco Nexus

edited Jul 5, 2017 5:26AM in Oracle Solaris Networking (MOSC) 1 commentAnswered

Hi,

we have a brand new T7-4 with 2 Dual-Port-10GB-Ethernet Ports: Sun Dual 10GbE SFP+ PCIe 2.0 LP FCode 3.16, transceivers are 1 GB Fibre short.

It's Solaris 11.3.20 (and also on 11.3.13... :-( )

Whenever the server is rebooted (or powered off), the Links are gone don't come up automatically.

Then on the Cisco Nexus the Ports have to be "shut/noshut" and then the links are functional again.
