Using Oracle Instant Client for PTools 8.54 2-Tier

Hi,

For PeopleTools 8.54 2-Tier access, has anyone been using Oracle Instant Client?

Here is my situation:

For Financials running PeopleTools 8.54 patch 19, our PTools 2-tier will be installed on Windows10 64bit.

And PTool 2-Tier connection requires Oracle Client.

My questions are:

Q1. Oracle Support psoft team is currently checking with certification team, to verify IF Instant Client is certified for use with PTool 2-Tier.

Q2. If anyone has been using Oracle Instant Client with PTool 2-Tier, could you share with me on what type of instant client should be installed?

• Instant Client Package - Basic

• Instant Client Package - JDBC Supplement
