PS AR Payments - Post Now completes a payment worksheet, Batch Standard doesn't, any thoughts on why

PS 9.2 FSCM, tools 8.55. Create deposit, run payment predictor, review results. If the worksheet is applied, then try to post with Batch standard and ARUPDATE. No love. Try with Post Now, and the worksheet items go to completed status. I thought that both processes used pretty much the same logic. I've reviewed PeopleBooks and Google'd this without any luck. There have been no changes to the AR_UPDATE or FS_STREAMLN app engines.
