Installing Virtualbox HCM PUM 23 on non-Windows host

I'm attempting to install HCM update image 23 on Virtualbox on a Mac host. I've done previous images this way:

  • Download the Virtualbox version of the PUM .zip files.
  • Manually unzip them -- obviously I can't use the Windows .bat or .ps1 that does it; the Linux shell script doesn't work on a Mac either.
  • Make sure the DPK .zip files are in a different directory from the download .zip files.
  • Import the VM.
  • Share the DPK directory to the VM.
  • Start the VM.
  • A script runs, asking various network and password questions, and it installs and configures Oracle, PeopleTools, etc.
