Peoplesoft v9.2; Printing BI Pub AP Check

We’re upgrading to  Ptools 8.55.13, Fin v9.2 pum 22 and we are just getting started testing the printing of the APY2021X1 BI Publisher Check.  For the person printing the checks, do they need the BI Publisher Desktop actually installed on their pc?  Thank You
