Hyperion FCM/ARM Using SOA

We are on Hyperion FCM/ARM version 11.1.2.3 and are having some significant issues with SOA.  I had heard indirectly that there is a patch in version 11.1.2.3 that addresses SOA issues, either by improving it or removing SOA from the equation as it does in version 11.1.2.4 but I have been unable to confirm this or find any additional information about that.  Can someone confirm if there is anything in 11.1.2.3 that would help relieve our SOA issues?
