Promise Status-Cancelled

Kindly clarify on below.

Will promise status get closed, if we create one more promise on same transaction for fill amount.

Below is the case we have.

We have created a promise for transaction full amount  on 28-Jul-17 by giving promise date as 31-Jul-17 and it has been broken. Again we have created one more promise for full amount on same transaction.

The one which we have created first, the  status is showing as Cancelled and is there any option to cancel the promise?
