Is Microsoft Word certified on PeopleTools 8.56 on Windows 2012 R2?

In reviewing the certifications for PeopleTools 8.56 on Windows 2012 R2, I see that Microsoft Word is missing from the list whereas Excel does appear. We currently use MicroSoft Word and Excel in batch processes on PeopleTools 8.53 and this is a concern. Microsoft Word does appear in the certifications for PeopleTools 8.55 on Windows 2012 R2. Any information you can give is appreciated.
