Is it possible to exclude a single field from a DMW data set?

Hi,

We are trying to adopt the use of DMW to migrate some banking changes from our lower environments on through to production.  These changes include the bank payment methods (i.e., checks).

DMW will cheerfully whack the last check number used when this is done, which is Not A Good Thing.

Is there anyway to exclude a field in a record contained in a data set?  I'm not seeing anything jump out in the documentation and/or the DMW pages, although I haven't looked closely at the App Package portion of a definition.
