Completely received and closed PO accepting duplicate ASN from the WMS

in Retail Merchandising System (MOSC) Question

Hi,

Could anyone help me with the below issue:

I have a completely received purchase order in RMS, which is inCLOSED status.

By mistake WMS (using OW WMS) send a duplicate ASN Verification message for the same PO (with the same PO number and ASN number), RMS accepted the duplicate ASN Verification and the stock got doubled.

Why RMS will accept ASN Verification for a closed PO ?

Is there any system option or way to stop this from happening ?
