Can we use seperate HTTP loadbalacer URL for gateway instead of using HTTPS online URL ?

We have implemented HTTPS on load balancer  when we are trying to load connectors we are getting certificate error so instead of importing certificates on server client want to use the separate gateway URL for gateway using HTTP .

my question is it going to work ?

is there any other place where in configuration I have to change the HTTPs url with new gateway HTTP url
