Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. There will be a required POC for those sites who intend to deploy their PeopleSoft 9.2 PUM/PeopleTools 8.56 on

(1) Native OS - Linux OR Native OS - Microsoft Windows

AND

(2) If the host/VM already has an older version of Puppet installed (possible from a prior 855 PUM deployment)

Based on Oracle's current investigation, we found the root cause was due to DPK not installing newer version of Puppet (4.5.2) during deployment.

A Bug for tracking has been created:

Bug# 25102737 - PT856-: WIN & LNX DPK DEPLOYMENT DOES NOT INSTALL NEW VERSION OF PUPPET.

The official fix for this issue will be available in the PT856.04 patch.
