Federations Scenarios for External Users

Hi,

My customer is looking for below 2 scenarios to be achieved.

Use Case 1:  Internal App A protected by webgate - X509Scheme, can external user access App A via Federation? If yes, how? If not, what's the best way to achieve this?

Use Case 2: Internal App B protected by webgate - LDAPScheme, can external user access App B via Federation? If yes, how? If not, what's the best way to achieve this?

I could not find any documentation around this scenario. If anyone has any idea, please provide your inputs.
