Applying RFU Updates Before Initial Pass

Hi All

I am working through a Campus Solutions 9.0 to 9.2 application upgrade. My current goal is applying the “Required for Upgrade” (RFU) updates to the upgrade source database (a non-unicode traditional demo database) before starting an initial upgrade pass. For a while I was not having much success setting up Change Assistant to create a job to do this (task: Apply Required For Upgrade Package). I kept getting a warning on the Check Compatibility screen:

Warning.

Status of Change Package: Not Updated

Change Package should be a updated Change Package for Move to Production.

I finally decided that the PUM Source information needs to be defined in Change Assistant when attempting to setup the RFU job, but now I have a question about some of the choices on the Change Package Setting screen. This screen lets you choose the Pass Type (Initial or Move to Production) and also has a question about Synchronizing Target Metadata.
