Spanish language enabling on peoplesoft customizations

Our current peoplesoft system is running on 9.2 with tools 8.53. We are planning to enable the Spanish language.  But our system is heavily customized. So when we apply the multi language how our customizations look like? Will it automatically convert these customizations into spanish? If not, how do we need to enable these customized field lables,texts into spanish?  Do we need to manually update the fields labels,text into spanish or through scripts it can be converted?
