Approval Workflow for Manager self Service

Hi,

We are in process of implementing MSS in our organization and trying to restrict the email notification that goes out to list of approvers.

In configuring the transaction we used the role to create the user list setup. But we are trying to achieve that is somehow restrict the workflow email notification to all the approvers bt at the sametime we would want them to approve the transaction by logging in.

How can we stop the notification?

If it is doable then it is possible to restrict this for just one step?  we have a multiple step approval path for this transaction.
