Report using Report Definition and XML

I am writing a report that is grabbing a population and putting that population to a XML file.   I am also then trying to publish that data into a PDF file.      It creates the XML file,  I can see the data.    I know it's reading the file for I was troubleshooting the data and it appears to be there.   

It creates the XML file (can see that in the view/log trace section.     It appears that after it writes the XML file, I have in the peoplecode  to generate the report but the process goes to 'No Success' and in the output the following error appears:
