ROLEXLATOPR DESCR(Name) update

We have a couple users whose name (DESCR) field on the ROLEXLATOPR record is out of sync with the PSOPRDEFN record.  The ROLEXLATOPR Descr field has an older name and the PSOPRDEFN record has the updated name. I have tried to make a change on the User Profile page and save. Removed the emplid associated with the user id, save, put back in, save. Removed the role associated with the User Id saved, added it again, saved. Nothing is updating the name on the ROLEXLATOPR record.

Any ideas on why this is happening?
