NFS max thread was 2048 after migrated to new srver we have changed to 4096 , now detached thread be

NFS max thread was 2048 after migrated to new server we have changed NFS MAX thread to 4096 , now detached thread become 3244 some time reaching 4097, it was working before with 2048 , why the no detached thread become high after we have changed the Max thread to 4096?
